Christopher Robert Evans (born June 13th, 1981) is an American actor from the United States. His television career began with performances, such as Opposite Sext, which he portrayed in 2000. In 2005, following his appearances in Not Another Teen Movie and Fantastic Four (and its sequel Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer 2007), he was recognized for his role as Marvel Comics superhero, the Human Torch. Evans was featured in a variety of films that adapted graphic novels and comics, including TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009) as well as Snowpiercer (2013). Evans' portrayal as Captain America/Steve Rogers in his role in Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014 and 2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame 2019, brought him more recognition. His work on the Marvel series established him as one of the top-paid actors.
